The Ruins Of Dead Cities

These ruins are spread in vast area in North Syria. Once big cities, now only ruins, indicating of the importance of the civilizations they had. They are from roman times, about 2-nd century A.D..
These pictures are from 200m distance from famous St. Simeon cathedral, west to Aleppo by 30km.

    Such beautiful pictures and what a coincidence that this was posted on 1 sept. I visited these places on that exact same day. Didn’t see a soul there…very impressive area.
