Flickr has an algorithm which decides which picture is most “interesting”. It can be very unusual, but interesting, not picturesque, but interesting. So here is what the Flickr algorithm revealed:

As www.flickr.com has a system of evaluating pictures, called “interestingness”, every album owner is provided with his most valued pictures. They calculate the hits, the direction of hits, and I think some human evaluation from flickr is also present.
