This is a small town on the road between Damascus and Homs. Here are the ruins of the hideaway of S. Jacob, who was persecuted in the beginning of christianity in Syria. Now there has been built a monastery, a church and a space for camping, where in summers scouts and students come to pass educational campings and leisure time.
