Der Salib Ancient Church

The ancient church of Der Salib is standing somehow today after centuries of being built. South-west of Hama by 40 km, facing to the West Syrian Mountains Chain. Visible still the beautiful columnar structures, the altar, some arches of the entrance, and a baptistry.
There is a village by the same name, which helped the church from being fallen into oblivion, because this worthy site is not listed in touristic publications in Syria. I got the info from www.hama.ws site Hama city official site.
